Madhu Pandit Dasa (former name Madhusudan S) was born in 1956 in Trivandrum, India. As a pre-degree student, he was selected by the National Science Talent search program of the country. He completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT-Mumbai in the year 1980.

Balaram is the plenary portion of Lord Krishna who appeared alongwith Lord Krishna to assist in His pastimes. He appeared in the family of Yadus as the elder brother of Lord Krishna. He appeared on the full moon day of Shravana masa(July- August). The festival falls on 13th August this year and ISKCON Bangalore will celebrate this in a grand way.
Jhulan Utsava, is the festival of swing when the gopis enjoyed the swing pastimes of Lord Krishna with His consort Srimati Radha Rani. It is celebrated from the day of sukla Ekadashi or the elelventh day of waxing moon till the poornima or full moon, ending on the Balaram Purnima, Lord Balaram's appearance day.
